Traffic lights not changing

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8404431.

The set of lights before the motorway exit to Rotherham are not changing at all, constantly stuck on red, resulting in traffic backlog.

    The information you provided around the operation of the traffic lights has been passed to our technical team to review our data.

    We looked into the logs and found that the traffic signals had been running as excepted apart from a short period between 13:01 and 13:29 on the 11 November 2025.

    The signals restored after that and haven’t experienced a similar issue since.

    We are continuing investigate why this short issue happened.

    We do aim to keep the traffic flowing as smoothly as possible for all directions and recognise that on occasions we might need to make changes.
