Multiple lights not working

Reported via desktop in the Not working (NH) category anonymously at 16:24, Friday 7 November 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8390077.

A large number of lights have failed on the A5103 from the Junction with the M60 to Junction 4 of the M56. I travel this route several times at 6am & it is very difficult to see the white lane markings when you are being dazzled by headlights from the traffic on the opposite carriageway. Particularly difficult going from a well lit carriageway on the M60 to complete darkness.

  • Thank you for making your report. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.

If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
