Blinding lights from old truck stop sign
Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 17:25, Monday 3 November 2025
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8371875.
The sign has been removed from the old Pearl truck stop signage next to the carriageway, exposing the bare tubes. This is dangerous at night as the blind drivers heading southbound as they come round the corner.
Can someone remove the tubes?

Thank you for contacting National Highways about flags.
We have passed this to one of our local inspectors to confirm that this is on our property. Safety is our priority and we do all we can to protect those who use our roads. Items such as flags attached to a bridge could pose a danger to motorists on the road below and so may need to be removed for safety reasons.
Kind regards
National Highways
