Pot hole on bridge danger to public

I am reporting a large pothole located halfway across the bridge on Tankersley Lane, Hoyland Common. This defect poses a serious safety risk to pedestrians and runners. The pothole is approximately 10 inches long and 1.5 inches deep, with raised edges that can easily catch a person’s foot. It appears to be situated in an area where previous resurfacing has been carried out. Unfortunately, I recently tripped and fell due to this pothole while out running, resulting in sprains to both wrists and pain/injury to my chest and shoulder. I am concerned that others could also be injured if the problem is not addressed promptly. Please could you arrange for an urgent inspection and repair of this section of the path
