Diversion signs left in place

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8345414.

Following completion of the road closure on the A1 Northbound on the 25th October.

Martins traffic management and Kier have left all their diversion signs along the diversion route A606 etc.

Please get every single diversion sign, frame, sand bag and cone collected.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use. Some isolated cones may also be in place for a specific purpose that may not be clear to passing vehicles. Kind regards National Highways
