Dangerous Tree

Reported via desktop in the Fallen/ Dead Tree (NH) category by Peter Wilderspin at 13:45, Thu 23 October 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8330687.

National Highways own land adjoining Cambridge Road, Madingley from when the A428 was built. A mature oak on the north side of Cambridge Road shed a c.14" diameter limb this morning blocking Cambridge Road. I have cleared the fallen limb out of the road, but there is some deadwood still hung in the tree that needs removing ASAP. The failed limb had significant rot, the tree needs a safety survey.
