Cones and concrete bollards closing lane

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8330535.

Have made previous reports and was told they will be removed at the end of september, we are now approaching the end of october and nothings changed. I assume they will remain until the new year which will then be a year on since they first appeared. The traffic is building up in the mornings at this point delaying travel and is extremely frustrating

  • Thank you for getting back in touch, and I’m sorry for the ongoing frustration this has caused.

    The cones were originally placed due to a damaged fence following an incident, and we’ve been waiting for the necessary repairs to be completed. I can confirm that the work is scheduled to finish on 27 October, and once that’s done, the cones will be removed.

    We appreciate your patience and apologise for the delay and inconvenience. If anything changes with the schedule, we’ll make sure to keep you updated.
