Water after heavy rains over night look to have caused water to build up in to the carriage way around entrance/exit to the few houses in the area potential no tho see the kerb edge

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways to report flooding on A1033. We’ve recently had works to maintain our Assets near the properties in question and these have been jetted and cleared, At the beginning of the month we inspected the area following a similar issue raised. If this refers to water pooling near the kerb edged of the parking area closest to the property we can advise that the local authority is responsible for maintenance issues on this section of the road as we don’t have any drainage at this location. We believe the local authority is East Riding. Please contact them to resolve this issue. Kind regards, National Highways
