This roundabout is a total mess, abandoned cones with grass growing up through the top, old frames left, at most slips

  • Thank you for your report.

    On 21 October 2025, our team visited the junction 4 roundabout and identified several unused traffic management (TM) items currently located on site. We are actively reviewing all unused TM equipment associated with National Highways along the A2/M2 corridor. Once this assessment is complete in the coming months, we will coordinate with our maintenance partners to arrange collection of any items confirmed to be associated with our network.

    Please note that some TM equipment remains in place at the roundabout to support Kent County Council’s ongoing repairs to a damaged barrier. These works are not related to National Highways.

    With the exception of the on and off slip roads at junction 4, please note the A278 and the roundabout above junction 4 of the M2 is owned and maintained by Kent County Council (KCC).
