Streetlights not lit during the hours of darkness

Reported via mobile in the Not working (NH) category anonymously at 20:59, Sun 19 October 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8314896.

M6 between J30 & J28. No cats eyes on this stretch of carriageway means that in darkness and inclement weather it is impossible to distinguish the lane markings which leads to hazardous driving conditions and a high risk of collision. This problem could be alleviated temporarily by actually switching on the street lighting which should be a necessity under health & safety requirements, particularly through junctions and interchanges
