Road is subsiding at the bridge over the interchange

I travel the route fortnightly and have noticed over many months that the road is slowly subsiding at the point where the A34 goes over the bridge over the Peartree roundabout.

    We’re working on a scheme to improve the carriageway surface over Peartree Interchange to help enhance ride quality.

    This will involve more than standard resurfacing, as we’ll need to consider changes to surface levels and how they affect things like drainage and safety barriers.

    We’ll share more updates as the plans progress and appreciate everyone’s patience while we work through the details.
