Spalled concrete on underside of bridge spanning over railway

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 10:02, Thu 16 October 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8302428.

During a visual examination conducted from trackside it was found that there is spalled concrete with exposed reinforcement on the underside of the A3 bypass bridge on span 2 (middle span).

Consider detailed/principal examination to understand condition. Following exam, remove loose concrete, treat re-bar and concrete-repair work to affected area as required.
