Lights on Roe cross road, Mottram in Longendale stuck on red and 3 lanes are also out of use on Mottram Moor causing travel chaos. My journey that should have been 15 minutes took me 50 minutes.

Updates

  • The traffic is ridiculous due the the works taking place on Mottram moor by cadent. Mottram is at a standstill still even at this hour on a Saturday evening. Something needs to change, this can not continue all weekend nor can it for the next three weekends. I'm sure something can be done to ease the congestion if this work is completely necessary. How about make the A628 access only for residents, close it to high sided vehicles or just do the work through the night. We can not leave our house for any reason as we would be caught up in this mess too.
