Several deer trapped near M40 Junction 15 (Longbridge Island, Warwick)

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 09:58, Wed 8 October 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8267788.

Location: Longbridge Island, junction of A46 and A429 (near M40 Junction 15, Warwick CV35 0AA)

I saw two or three deer earlier today within the fenced and grassed areas around the A46/A429 junction at M40 Junction 15 (Longbridge Island). They seemed unable to leave because of the barriers and heavy traffic. They may have moved on by now, but it might be worth checking the area or notifying wildlife rescue (RSPCA) just in case.
