Street lighting not working

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8249862.

All the street lights seemed to have failed between Over roundabout and the Newent turning on both sides of the road. Amazing that they all failed at the same time. Incredulous that they would have been deliberatly tuned off putting all road users and pedestrians at greater health & safety risk exposure. I wonder what courts would say if someone was killed due to lack of street ghting.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
