Dangerous and distracting flags on street lights

As a local councillor for Kettering, I have received multiple comments from residents about the dangerous and distracting flags that have been erected on the street lamps all around this roundabout. Please can they be removed as soon as possible?

    We have passed this to one of our local inspectors to confirm that this is on our property. Safety is our priority and we do all we can to protect those who use our roads. Items such as flags could pose a danger to motorists on the road below and so may need to be removed for safety reasons.
