Fallen tree across footpath

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 17:26, Wed 1 October 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8239836.

A tree has fallen and is blocking the footpath that runs between the houses in The Downs, Felixstowe and the A14. The tree started to lean on the weekend of 20/21 September 2025. I reported it to Suffolk County Council, who say it is not their responsibility, on Monday 22nd September. I also phoned Natinal Highways to report it either on 22nd or 24th September but have heard nothing further. The tree is now completely down as is not only blocking the public footpath but also the rear access to my property at 24 The Downs, Felixstowe IP11 2FG meaning that I cannot leave by the back of the house if there was an emergency.
