Trees blocking sunlight

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 13:16, Friday 26 September 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8218232.

Trees planted beyond the bottom of the garden are obstructing sunlight into the garden which is affecting the lawn growth which in turn is generating moss and weed growth. The roots are breaking up the concrete making it uneven for the elderly resident. The trees are now so high if they were to fall or blown over in the high winds we have been seeing more recently they could damage property, certainly the shed and conservatory and neighbouring properties. If they were to fall onto the A47 that would potentially be cataphoric to passing traffic. Could pollarding of the trees please be carried out.
