Flags tied to the bridge above the A1

There are two flags tied to either side of the bridge that goes over the A1 from Felton to Old Swarland along the B6345 road. They are tied on with zip ties against the barriers on the top of the bridge. They appeared this week.

    We have passed this to one of our local inspectors to confirm that this is on our property. Safety is our priority and we do all we can to protect those who use our roads. Items such as flags attached to a bridge could pose a danger to motorists on the road below and so may need to be removed for safety reasons.
