Bad litter

Large amount of litter on Gravesend Central and East slip roads both sides northbound and southbound.Rubbish everywhere

  • Thank you for your report. Our team has visited this location to assess the issue and inspected all slip roads on both sides of the A2 at the Singlewell junction for litter.

    We found that the two slip roads on the coastbound side currently have minimal litter accumulation, so no action is being taken there at this time. However, on the London-bound side, remedial work has been raised with our maintenance partners to carry our litter picking on the link road between Cobham Services and the Singlewell junction, including the entry slip.

    This work is expected to take place within the next 30–40 days, subject to resource availability and the necessary authorisation to close sections of the network being granted.
