Missing sign and a damaged, illegible sign
Reported via desktop in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 13:14, Tue 23 September 2025
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8203025.
There are two things wrong: 1. The sign that was on the pole on the island at the end of the B6461 where it joins the north bound carriageway of the A1, was removed, allegedly after a vehicular collision on an unknown date. It needs to be reinstated. 2. The sign, identifying Paxton House, on the northbound carriageway of the A1, just south of the B6461, is weathered beyond being readable.
