Top of slip road coming off A3 northbound - hatchings on the left are worn away

Reported via desktop in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 21:24, Mon 22 September 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8200396.

Hatching markings have faded away so people line up in pairs when the hatchings made it a single lane. This means those turning right have to be too far over to see the traffic coming over the bridge in time. The traffic comes over the bridge at speed because they have a good view and see they don't need to give way. They are not, of course, anticipating any other dangers because people just don't drive like that any more. If I try to place myself centrally at the top of the slip to turn right (which is what you would always do when the hatchings were visible), I am subjected to aggression and abuse for not moving over to the right to allow people to come up and drive over where the hatchings used to be on the left. Please re-paint these markings to allow safer transit onto the roundabout.
