Bump in road

We were travelling on a motorbike, clockwise on the M25 when we hit a big bump in the road which lifted us both off the seat and caused the mirror/indicator pod to come loose but it was caught by its retaining strap but I still had to pull onto the hard shoulder from the 3rd lane to fit the the pod back on my bike. I didn't see the bump just felt it and believe it's possibly the joint on the bridge over the A245. Obviously we couldn't take any pictures! BTW we were travelling at 79 mph so it was a little scary and could've been a lot worse
