Flags on bridge

Several large red and white flags attached to the bridges crossing the A120 between Colchester and Harwich presenting a potential danger of distraction to motorists and/or potential ensnarement of pedestrians and vehicles in the event of their coming loose in strong winds. They have been present for the past two weeks or so.

    We have passed this to one of our local inspectors to confirm that this is on our property. Safety is our priority and we do all we can to protect those who use our roads. Items such as flags attached to a bridge could pose a danger to motorists on the road below and so may need to be removed for safety reasons.
