Pothole on M40

Dear Sir/Madam

I was travelling to Marlow (Junction 4 , M40) this morning to take my child to a Secondary Transfer Test and as I was changing lanes from middle to first I almost had a very serious accident. There is a big pothole between two lanes. Please could you look into as I was advised by my local police station to report to your selves.
