St George's cross flag has been placed on this roundabout .

This flag itself is not illegal; however, it is a distraction, as I am a British woman of Indian origin, and it feels racially aggressive and may lead to distraction when I drive. Unfortunately, there are no alternative routes for me to drive . I would be grateful if this and the flags on the lamp posts along the A47 road near here could be removed.

    We have passed this to one of our local inspectors to confirm that this is on our property. Safety is our priority, and we do all we can to protect those who use our roads. Items such as flags attached to a bridge could pose a danger to motorists on the road below and so may need to be removed for safety reasons.
