Pedestrian pillar been knocked over and smashed

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category by Cllr David Watts at 12:09, Sun 7 September 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8130898.

This pillar is on the south bound side of the Lewes rd on the A27. Junction with Gainsborough Lane. It appears some has smashed into this completely demolished. Thus makes the pedestrian crossing dangerous as the signal cannot be operated. This is the 3rd time this has happened here at this location since it was originally installed.
