Uneven surface

After work was completed a few months back with re concreting sections of the A180 from the A160 to the A15. The road surface is bad. I was driving my lorry towards the A15 in the heavy rain on the 4/9/25 and even with the lorry loaded, the back end stepped out and was sliding due to the uneven surface. The inspection after the work was done should have picked up the the surface is that bad, you are being thrown around in the lorry and it's not safe... The concrete road surface needs skimming to smooth it out before the bad weather comes and something happens and possibly someone injured.

We have had to undertake some interim intervention works before a future full reconstruction scheme can be designed and delivered.
We’re aware of some remaining issues in that area and are constantly monitoring safety and quality on this route. We appreciate customer feedback and we will arrange to carry out any further work as required.
