Dangerous flags

Flags on bridges from the hind head tunnel to around A3 junction 3. These flags if they fall on the windscreen of a car could cause a major accident or even death. There is even a large lorry with a flag of a bridge which seems to have been stolen or abandoned as it has been there for over a week

    We have passed this to one of our local inspectors to confirm that this is on our property. Safety is our priority, and we do all we can to protect those who use our roads. Items such as flags attached to a bridge could pose a danger to motorists on the road below and so need to be removed for safety reasons.
