Road subsiding on the southbound carriage way

The left hand carriage way just after the B2117 slip road is subsiding away to the left in a few locations, causing a gradually worsening undulations to the road surface. this has been there for at least the last month.

    We're aware of the carriageway condition at this location, with a scheme currently in design for construction later this financial year to address.

    In the meantime, temporary 'bumpy road' signs have been installed for driver awareness. There are no current safety concerns and we will continue to monitor during our weekly safety inspections.
