There is a dead cat on the hard shoulder (east, J33, M62).

Has this cat been checked for a microchip? My son's black cat had possibly gone into a workman's van, while the doors were open and has disappeared. She's microchipped and the details are up to date and correct.

I am sorry about your son's cat. I am the one who reported the sighting to the Highways Agency. I have not had an update. When I drove past yesterday, there was no sign of the cat, so I hope this means they have collected and scanned him/her.
