Would it not be an ideal time to improve this corner at it is a pinch point for passing vehicles and being a may coach and hgv route if the road was widened at this old archway would be safer for all road users there is plenty of space in the embankment. After spending a 2 weeks driving around Europe the road network is so much better wider roads most being duel. The most noticeable is there is no over hanging vegetation it made travelling around so much easier as visibility is clear.
