Flag suspended from motorway bridge

Flag has been placed on railings on motorway bridge. If this falls onto motorway could cause an accident.

  • Thank you for reporting the flag on the M62. Due to the amount of flags being repeatedly placed at present around the strategic road network, we’re currently not removing them straight away if there is no immediate risk. We’re checking to ensure they are not a safety issue and listing the locations during patrols from inspectors and traffic officers. A plan to remove them at a future date is being progressed.
