Bump or dip in road.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8059144.

M1 J11 to J10 Southbound Lane 1 (hard shoulder with all lanes running) Up the incline near Farley Hill and closer to the summit.

Bump or dip in the road. Hard shoulder lane (Smart motorway with all lanes running)

Dip/bump was severe enough to send everything in the truck flying a foot into the air and cause a momentary loss of control.

Encountered Wednesday morning.

  • Thank you for making your report regarding the road surface condition on the M1 southbound, prior to junction 10. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
