A frames and cones

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8047755.

Seems to be a lot of cones left at the side of the road and there hasn’t been any or doesn’t seem to be any roadworks in progress. I think there was some pothole work a few months ago. Looks a mess there are lots of cones just amongst the vegetation and pavement. This is between the motorway bridge and Wigan Road just as you are coming out of the southbound exit. ///send.splice.rises

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use.
