Northbound slip road traffic lights not working for nearly 2 weeks. Traffic stationary on A1 could be an accident waiting to happen

  • Traffic lights at Junction 62 northbound not working several mornings approximately 7:15-7:30 resulting in queuing traffic on the slip road from the motorway. However they were working middle of the day !

  • A1 slip road to carville road a bout traffic lights not working nor are they working on the full round a about, the a1 traffic is queing down the a1 into the live lane this will cause an accident

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways.

    We have attended the site and carried out remedial works. The signals have been operating since Tuesday last week.

    We are closely monitoring the operation of the signals and further works are being planned to ensure reliability in the future.
