Camera's are needed

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 18:35, Thu 14 August 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8026977.

The congestion here almost daily has nothing to do with light sequence.

Its to do with vehicles blocking the island.

The simple and most effective solution would be to have clear yellow hatched areas and cameras to fine the said offenders.

This has been a problem here for a long time and needs a solution. Today it has taken me One hour and twenty minutes to navigate from the Belfrey Island around to Dunton and onwards to Kingsbury.

Not to mention the knock on effect from Coleshill, Minworth, Kingsbury and those on the M42 North and South trying to exit at junction 9.
