Build up of memorial items to the bridge over the motorway

See report comment below regarding the bridge over the motorway which is maintained by National Highways. "The bridge is over the M62 motorway and is part of Asquith Avenue a busy road. Several months ago there must have been a fatality there. Since then memorial plaques and posters etc have been attached to the bridge and items like a helmet left there. It’s an eyesore now and to be honest it should never have been allowed to attach items to the bridge. It is offensive and has no meaning to 99.9% of people who pass by. Given that it is directly over a motorway it’s also an accident waiting to happen."
