Ref: 8011420

Reported via desktop in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 15:31, Tue 12 August 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8015417.

Further to the above reference number, please note that I am the Highways Contract and Maintenance Manager at RBWM. Following thorough internal checks, it has been confirmed that the sign in question is your asset. Please review your records carefully, as this is not the first time the sign has been knocked over—it has been damaged and subsequently repaired in the past. No other department within RBWM claims ownership of this sign, nor have they carried out any repairs on it previously. This further supports that the asset belongs to your organisation. Kindly investigate and take appropriate action.

Updates

  • Thank you for making your report.

We can confirm that Henley Road is not our network, and the give way sign which is on that road would be the responsibility of the local authority to maintain.

Please contact them to resolve this issue. Contact details for local authorities can be found by using the search facility at:

    Kind regards National Highways
