Overgrowth cut back - but rubbish all left!

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 15:30, Tuesday 12 August 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8015411.

If National Highways are struggling financially (as they keep referring to often), it may be a good idea to use your resources more strategically and more efficiently. Sending a team to implement lane closures and cut back both roundabouts, but leaving the litter all over after, seems a completely inefficient way of delivering the works. Now a follow up team will surely need to have another set of hours spent implementing the same lane closures to allow for a clean up. Why would this not be completed by the same team at the same time? Contractors trying to gain extra jobs? Please arrange for the mess that has been left behind to be cleaned, it looks a very sorry state.
