Severe dangerous subsidence of road
Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 18:52, Sun 10 August 2025
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8005243.
As reported in the disappointingly closed report reference 7902504 the road surface is seriously subsided and undulating. There is the potential for vehicles to lose control.
The issue is in the eastbound carriageway of the A428 approaching the junction with the A14 approximately as the signs for two lanes becoming one start.
The report reference 7902504 makes the good suggestion of signing the issue if it can’t be immediately fixed.
I note the road was closed here last night, I hoped the closure would have been to fix the issue, but the issue remains today.
