Noise created by the joints on bridge

We have noticed that there is a significantly loud noise coming from each expansion joint on the bridge. This is causing significant mental health issues due to the sound it makes from vehicles driving over. Other bridges have acoustic material over the joints to reduce the vibrations and sound. We wondered if it is possible to do this on the expansion joints on this bridge? Thank you.
