Tactile cones not working on Pelican crossing.

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 15:01, Thu 7 August 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7993611.

The pelican crossing tactile cones are not working from either side of the main road on the A49 (from Bullingham lane side to the central island and from Marlbrook road side to the island) on either the left or right hand boxes. they appear to be working on the central island. This crossing is not usable for a local person with a vision impairment or anyone else who may need to use the tactile cones under the Pelican boxes. It is not an audible crossing. The button from the middle of the crossing towards Marlbrook road also does not work properly and seems to be sticking.
