Road Surface very poor and vegetation encroaching onto road

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category by David Brimble at 12:50, Tue 5 August 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7982073.

The road surface on the bridge and bridge ramps is uneven and pot-holed having not been maintained for many years. The ramps have become narrower due to encroachment of vegetation. The bridge is used heavily by South Hinksey village and some significant consumer-facing businesses. Vehicles avoiding potholes are sometimes on the wrong side of the road on the blind corners at the top of the ramp and several near misses have been reported to Hinksey Heights Golf Club.
