Obscured and dirty signs
Reported via desktop in the Sign Obscured (NH) category by David Brimble at 12:45, Tue 5 August 2025
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7982035.
The trees and signs on the side of the bridge ramp have not been maintained. Consequently, signs are completely obscured and extremely dirty. This is unhelpful for any road users, but particularly considering the junction is used by northbound drivers that miss the South Hinksey Interchange junction - which is often due to heavy traffic build up. Also, there are several consumer facing businesses who's customers use this junction. Signage clarity is important and lack of it causes drivers to hesitate and endanger themselves and other road users.
