Severely overgrown vegetation

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category by Helen Artingstall-Harris at 17:42, Sun 3 August 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7972761.

The severey overgrown vegetation has been reported on numerous occasions with no action taken. This is extremely hazardous & causes traffic to straddle the central white lines. This is a very serious matter & should be dealt with as a matter of the utmost urgency before a serious accident occurs as a result of your inaction. Despite responses by yourselves, the latest being 17th July 2025 & your assertion that the area would be inspected & action taken if necessary, this has clearly not happened & the situation is now even more severe. I would be interested to know how far the vegetation has to grow into the road, at present up to 5ft. before you consider it is serious enough to take action.
