A66/M6 Junction 40 horrendous traffic
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7959802.
The traffic lights need looking at as it is only letting a few vehicles through and the traffic is backed up to rheghed roundabout when I joined the queue some 50 minutes ago and I am still 15 cars off the roundabout. This is the A66 between rheghed and junction 40 roundabout. It doesn't help when other vehicles come through and block the lanes up. This is a regular occurrence and not one off. It needs looked at. At 1105 we were sat on the bridge and looking left all you can see is the standing traffic as far as you can see trying to get up the slip road. Something needs done with as I say it isn't a one off but a regular occurrence where it takes ages to get to the motorway roundabout
