Sunken road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7951612.

Sunken trough across whole width of the exit slip as you approach roundabout. It is significant enough to destabilise vehicles under breaking approaching this junction. Looks to be where poorly compacted works have sunken or drain is collapsing. Issue has been present several months and is worsening.

  • Thank you for making your report. Upon further investigation it has been established that we have conducted a site meeting with Anglian Water at this location.

    They have agreed to complete a repair as soon as the relevant permissions have been obtained.
