Potential of dead tree to fall over and block carriageway of A66 or damage property on embankment south side of A66

Reported via mobile in the Fallen/ Dead Tree (NH) category anonymously at 18:28, Tue 29 July 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7951247.

Dead tree with potential to fall over in adverse weather. Tree is situated on the upper embankment side of the A66 between the Brigham and Bridgefoot junctions. . If it falls towards the A66 then it could block the road or cause an accident. If it falls the opposite direction it is close enough to damage a stone wall, roof and structure of at least one or two houses. As a precaution, suggest it is removed to prevent future damage or injury.
