RAC Fly tipping

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping (NH) category anonymously at 12:12, Mon 28 July 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7942799.

"The RAC appears to be allowing contractors to discard damaged tyres along motorway verges, raising serious environmental and regulatory concerns. After my vehicle suffered a blowout, the contractor simply threw the damaged tyre onto the side of the motorway. When I raised the issue, RAC responded with: 'Regarding the removal of the damaged tyre, I'm sorry for the oversight, I understand this should have been disposed of.' This response is wholly unacceptable from a company of such size and reputation." M4 Westbound between JCT 21 - 20 13/7/25
